Daphne had a terrific and memorable Father's Day! My Dad came to visit and brought her a really nice play kitchen. Daphne helped me assemble it step-by-step and Jennie carefully affixed the stickers with care.
We treated my father and Jennie's parents to a hearty lunch over at O'Charley's restaurant. Daphne ate a little bit of everyone's food and washed it down with some fresh pink lemonade.
On Saturday, Jennie's parents watched Daphne for the afternoon while we shopped for our new bedroom suite. After visiting several stores, I think we found the right set. We hope to order it this week and have it delivered by mid-July.
Our refrigerator was delivered on Friday and our eat-in kitchen dinner table arrives on Tuesday.
